ANOTHER BUSY YEAR.

2017 has been a busy year entertaining so many groups and so many people and just when we thought it couldn’t get any busier we have concerts with Mercury Bay Community Choir in Whitianga on 1 October, and with the Taranaki Male Voice Choir on 5 November along with singouts with the Lionesses on 4 December, our break up on 11 December, ┬áCentre Place Mall on 14 December (TBC), Trevellyn Care Centre on 17 December and Radius St Joans Care Centre on 18 December (TBC).

It has been a wonderful year for the choir and with 6 new members joining the sound is really something to hear, thanks to the efforts of Sean, Angela and of course the choristers.

We were really sad however to lose the services of our librarian and good friend Caroline who passed away suddenly in September. She has left a big gap in our choir and her willingness to keep our music, uniforms and archives up to date will be missed. A lovely service was held for her and the choir sang ‘A Clare Benediction” at her service and Sean spoke highly about her services to the choir.
