St Andrews Church, July 27 July 2014

Around the World in song was presented by Male Voices Waikato at St. Andrews Church last Sunday with the support of the Rosetown Choristers from Te Awamutu. The small but appreciative audience were treated with some robust singing with Let All Men Sing (USA), Kalinka (Russia) and African Trilogy (Africa) to more gentle renditions of, May the Road Rise up to Meet You (NZ) and In This Ancient House (Momoshiki ya) (Japan). The Rosetown Choristers presented a variety of songs including the endearing White Cliffs of Dover and the evergreen Don’t sit under the Apple Tree. Both choirs combined to sing A White Sport Coat, God Help the Outcasts and Swing Down Chariot.
